Getting trip ready.....

I must admit I love getting ready to go on vacation.

I have to locate the perfect journal or make one.  Since I am staying put this year I decided to take one of each.  After much research on the web, I decided to try the Stillma and Birn mixed media ...Delta series.  I got it in the mail today and everything about it is perfect.  As I type, it has a coat of gesso drying on the cover awaiting its painting of the hillside town of Terni, Italy.....my destination.   Behind Miss Stillman B is the beginning cover of my handmade version.  The pages for this version are Venetian covered linen sitting in a stack waiting to be sewn into their new home.  Finished versions will be upcoming.
